Cub Scouts on Mt. Pinnacle

This clipping came from the Sheridan Headlight probably no later than 1979 or 1980. The Sheridan Cub Scout Pack 237 just made their annual trip to climb Mt. Pinnacle. You'll be able to recognize some of our classmates in the photo, but the rest you'll have to pick out in the list of names below.
I've since made this climb with my son and his cub scouting buddies, so it remains a special place for me. I'm sure many of you have your own pics of you & your children on top of Arkansas's only "mountain." And for those of us guys who grew up in scouts, we certainly have some great memories. I'll try to recount some of those memories in later posts, until then you might enjoy reading about the Pinewood Derby (Then & Now) I posted on my personal blog.

Below is a picture of my cub scout uniform. You'll see the brown & green Mt. Pinnacle patch on the right side of the vest. We all received this patch for climbing the mountain.
